PORTFOLIO

Here’s a little peek at some of the fun we’ve had — from parties and murals to workshops, events and window art. You’ll spot all sorts in this gallery, including:

  • Art & wellbeing sessions where people unwind, get creative and take a breather

  • Graffiti birthday parties full of colour and chaos (the good kind)

  • Print workshops where guests make their own t-shirts and tote bags

  • Community murals painted with locals to brighten up shared spaces

  • Graffiti team-building days that get everyone laughing and spraying together

  • Can’t Cook, Will Cook sessions for kids and families to try new things in the kitchen

  • Halloween and Christmas window paintings that turn shopfronts into mini shows

Every photo is a memory — people coming together to try something new, get a bit messy, have a laugh and make something they’re proud of.

Take a scroll through and get inspired — this is what art for wellbeing truly looks like.

Glitterati Hairdressers

Halloween Window Painting

We turned Glitterati Hairdressers in Weybridge into a spooky salon you’ll never forget… Skeletons have clawed their way out of the ground, clutching brushes, combs and scissors like they’ve got clients to see and trims to finish!

Pumpkins tower over the scene while bony hands reach up from the dirt – one even sporting a salon-perfect blowout and rollers. And centre stage? A pumpkin-headed scarecrow hair stylist armed with ghostly scissors, ready for walk-ins from the afterlife.

Spooky scary skeletons… would you dare let them cut your hair?

Hand-painted by us at Cockney Green – because why should the living have all the style?

William Say - Can Makers Of London

Mural - Commemorating the Company Heritage

As local artists and fellow Londoners, we were truly honoured to be commissioned by William Say & Co Ltd to create this mural at their Bermondsey factory — home to one of the last remaining independent can makers in the city.

Painted inside their original hand tooling workshop, the mural is a vibrant celebration of the company’s incredible history and its commitment to innovation. We wanted to honour their legacy through meaningful imagery: from a portrait of founder William Say, to a soaring Spitfire plane paying tribute to World War II veteran and much-loved colleague Colin S. Bell age 104 (who personally signed his name on the wall)  During the Second World War Colin served as a Mosquito pilot,.

We also included a retro Polaroid camera to represent the brand’s modern online presence, the Metal Recycles Forever logo to highlight their dedication to sustainability, and a Union Jack hot air balloon as a nod to proud British manufacturing.

Creating this piece was a chance to connect art with industry, past with present — and to celebrate a true London institution through the lens of community and creativity.

ILDERTON PRIMARY SCHOOL

Art & Wellbeing Workshop - GRAFFITI WORKSHOP

we invited 140 local primary school children over 2 days to join us at LEX2 for an amazing graffiti experience. This fun and educational session combined street art techniques with powerful lessons in self-expression, sustainability, and wellbeing.

  •  Pupils learned how to use spray cans safely and creatively, experimenting with colour blending, stencils, and tagging styles guided by professional graffiti artists.

  • Using recycled spray cans, the children created bold and uplifting word sculptures, choosing positive messages to express how they feel and what matters to them. A hands-on way to learn that art can be both powerful and environmentally friendly.

  • This workshop encouraged creative thinking, boosted emotional wellbeing, and showed how recycled materials can be used to make something truly meaningful.

  • A perfect mix of art, education, and eco-conscious creativity — proving that great ideas don’t have to cost the Earth.

Millwall FC Tunnel Community Mural – 'Maybe Its Because I'm a Londoner'

Cockney Culture Brought to Life

As local artists, we wanted to do something that truly celebrates where we come from — our roots, our people and our traditions. This mural project at the Millwall FC tunnel was all about bringing the community together and shining a light on Cockney culture.

We covered the walls with London icons and hand-painted portraits of the Pearly Kings and Queens who joined us on the day. Each portrait is mixed media, capturing their character, personality and the beautiful details of their pearly suits. The canvases were later exhibited in a local gallery so the community could come and see them up close.

But it wasn’t just about painting — it turned into a proper Cockney knees-up. We all burst into “Maybe It’s Because I’m a Londoner,” and one of the Pearly Kings even played the spoons while we sang. Manze’s Pie & Mash looked after everyone with 50 portions of traditional pie, mash and liquor — nothing brings people together like proper grub.

The whole event was rooted in pride, heritage and connection, and it was brilliant to see it featured in the Southwark News. This project wasn’t just art on a wall — it was our history, our humour, and our community, painted and celebrated together.
